Are you a confident communicator with a talent for building relationships and spotting sales opportunities? A well-established manufacturing and distribution business in the creative retail sector is looking for a Part-Time Telesales Representative to join their busy, friendly sales team.
Job Title: Part-Time Telesales Representative (22.5 hours per week – Flexible Schedule)
Location: Ashington (Office-based only)
Salary: £35,000 FTE (£21,000 pro rata) + Bonus
Contract Type: Permanent
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to help grow customer accounts through proactive and meaningful conversations. You’ll be based at their Ashington office and work 22.5 hours per week – with flexibility around which days you work, choose your own hours!
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strong relationships with existing customers to retain and grow revenue
- Increase average spend and customer value through tailored sales conversations
- Follow up on leads and supplied data to convert warm prospects into active customers
- Analyse buying patterns to identify new opportunities for upselling or cross-selling
- Conduct regular customer reviews to understand and anticipate needs
- Accurately log all customer interactions and feedback
- Stay informed on product updates and pricing initiatives
- Consistently hit personal sales targets and contribute to team goals
What They're Looking For:
Essential:
- Minimum 6 months’ experience in a sales or telesales role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence in handling objections and negotiating deals
- Tenacity, resilience, and a results-driven mindset
- 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), grades A–D
Desirable:
- Background in B2B sales or customer account management
- Familiarity with retail, wholesale, or product distribution sectors
