Duties/Responsibilities
- Seek and secure profitable engineering contracts
- Generate commercial and technical proposals
- Manage customer expectations and secure profitable contracts
- Define and manage enquiry management processes
- Ensure project concepts and plans are communicated and understood
- Take responsibility for assigned accounts and customers
- Lead customer contact during proposal and sales phases
- Understand and manage risk for project proposals
- Meet sales targets for profitability and revenue
- Inspire team members to achieve high standards of business excellence
- Produce business plans and acquire market knowledge
- Ensure deadlines for technical and commercial proposals are met
- Manage personal development and mentor team members
About You
- HND level qualification in Engineering, Business, or Manufacturing
- Extensive commercial and technical experience in similar industries
- Proven track record in enquiry and bid management
- Experience producing sales proposals
- Demonstrated success in a sales/proposals environment
- Strong customer care and communication skills
- Ability to plan, organise, and meet tight deadlines independently
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with inspirational leadership skills
