Permanent

Looking for your break into recruitment? Or maybe you're in sales or a graduate role and fancy a career where you can grow, develop, and really make a difference? We’re working with a brilliant, well-established recruitment business in the Teesside area who are looking for a Resourcer to join their expanding team.

This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to get stuck into the fast-paced world of technical and engineering recruitment, supporting some of the UK’s most high-profile energy and infrastructure projects.

The Role:

You’ll be supporting a super-experienced team, helping to identify and engage top-tier talent across a range of technical, blue-collar, and white-collar roles. No prior experience in recruitment is needed – just a solid work ethic, a good phone manner, and the willingness to learn.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Sourcing skilled candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, and internal systems
  • Building talent pools for major upcoming projects
  • Maintaining candidate records and keeping the CRM updated
  • Supporting the consultants through the full recruitment process
  • Most importantly – picking up the phone and building real relationships

Who we’re looking for:

  • Someone who’s not afraid of the phone – this isn’t a behind-the-email kind of role
  • Proactive, methodical and organised
  • Great communicator who enjoys chatting to new people
  • Keen to learn and hungry to progress
  • Able to work from the office full time (flexible hours available)
  • Must be a driver (due to future client visits/emergency duties rota)
  • Previous sales, customer service or graduate experience is a bonus – but not essential

The Perks:

  • Structured training and 1-2-1 development from day one
  • Team-based quarterly bonus – no dog-eat-dog culture here
  • 22 days holiday rising to 25 (plus buy/sell options)
  • Health cash plan, life assurance, and personal finance coaching
  • Cycle to work scheme, paid charity days & long service awards
  • Phone and laptop provided
  • Flexibility to work between 8am–6pm (most people do 9–5 or 8–4)
  • Full support during training period from a collaborative and down-to-earth team

Why this company?

You’ll be joining a well-known brand in the engineering recruitment world, with over 40 years of experience and a fantastic reputation – which means you’ll benefit from strong inbound traffic and long-standing client relationships. The Teesside office is growing year-on-year and working closely with their sister branch in Sunderland. Expect a healthy mix of temp and perm work, across blue collar trades, heavy engineering, and white collar technical roles.

This is a business that genuinely invests in its people – most of the team have been there years, and for good reason.
