We’ve been retained by a well-established, multi-discipline legal firm in Newcastle as they begin succession planning for the approaching retirement of their Family Partner. Once settled, there are also expansion plans in place and ambition is not in short-supply.
With flexible hours and the option to work from home to continue post-pandemic as well as a range of excellent benefits, this offers a very real opportunity for serious career progression over the next year or two and beyond.
You’ll be 3-4 years PQE as a minimum, potentially much longer and have solid grounding in all aspects of family law, with particular strength in the financial elements, including remedy.
You know what a Family Lawyer does, so we’re not going to waste your valuable time here. As the Family Partner reduces business hours ahead of retirement, you’ll get to learn from a vastly experienced Partner, with experience dealing in multi-million pound financial cases and be groomed to take those reigns when the time comes, all whilst the department develops further with junior recruitment.
Salary is negotiable and competitive depending on experience with a general range of £35,000-£45,000pa, but don’t be discouraged from contact if you’re outside of that range.
