BMC have partnered with our client - a leader in an ‘all-in’ engineering design service, predominantly supporting the new build development sector to recruit an experienced Associate Structural Engineer to join their innovative team in the heart of Newcastle!

As an Associate Structural Engineer - one day you’ll be managing house plot foundation and superstructure design, the next visiting the site and using those skills of yours to look at the structural design and provide technical support to the construction teams, and then you’ll be meeting clients.

You will work on projects of all sizes with most of the work for private, social, and residential housing providers, as well as other sectors including commercial, industrial, leisure, education, student accommodation, etc.

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, possesses exceptional communication skills, and boasts a successful track record of delivering high-quality structural solutions within budget and on time.

You'll be at the forefront of sustainability, integrating eco-friendly practices into iconic designs. Your expertise in various materials and state-of-the-art design software will be key in propelling the projects to new heights.

With a minimum of 6 years' experience, you'll be proficient in leading a team, designing to British Standards, and driving projects from conception to completion.

You’re not required to be in the Newcastle office 5 days a week, some of the team opt for the hybrid option and work 2-3 days from home – it’s your choice.

In return for a 37.5-hour week, our client is offering –

• A salary banding from £65,000K
