BMC Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor for their client in Middlesbrough, Teesside.

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you'll join their expanding commercial team based at their busy, fast-moving head office 5 days a week. Your responsibilities will include assisting with cost control, compiling reports, maintaining compliance with group policies, and supporting subcontractor processes.

You'll also be involved in tender preparations, managing subcontractor orders and payments, and contributing to the efficiency of departmental administration.

You should be methodical, organised, and able to work independently while thriving under pressure.

· Support senior surveyors in managing projects including costs/budgets

· Project value £5k-£5m
