Accounts Payable Administrator

Our client based in Cramlington are looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator on a full-time, permanent basis.

They offer hybrid working and are open to negotiations on the salary for the right candidate. You must be able to demonstrate knowledge of the Accounts Payable process, ideally with 2 years previous experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices accurately and efficiently, matching them with purchase orders and verifying approvals.
  • Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment inquiries.
  • Prepare and process payment runs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions in the accounting system.
  • Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes related to accounts payable.
