Accounts Assistant

To support our clients growing business, they are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their busy accounts department within our Newcastle office.

 

As Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for:

  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Cashless reconciliations
  • Producing invoices for all three divisions of the group
  • Banking of receipts
  • Dispute management
  • Credit Control
  • Sage payments
  • Petty cash
  • Daily banking
  • Database maintenance using Excel
  • Other ad hoc duties to assist the accounts department

The successful candidates will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and numeracy skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience of working with Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel
  • Experience of working with Sage Line 50
  • The ability to work individually as well as part of a wider team
  • A ‘can do’ attitude with a proactive approach
  • Ability to work well under pressure
