Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage UK-based projects in accordance with UK Building Regulations and relevant standards across various sectors, including industrial, residential, retail, commercial, and healthcare
- Lead and liaise with other design team members to achieve coordinated design solutions that meet client objectives
- Conduct structural engineering assessments and inspections of new and existing properties in steel, concrete, masonry, and timber
- Perform analysis and design using software packages such as Tekla Structural Designer and Tedds
- Ensure the quality and consistency of technical outputs, including drawings and reports
- Prepare high-quality technical reports, including structural surveys
- Maintain attention to detail and manage multiple projects of varying sizes
- Promote the company at external networking and social events
About You:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Chartered or near Chartered status (MICE or MIStructE)
- Varied experience in all common forms of construction and building types
- Excellent report writing, communication, and numerical skills
- Previous experience in a UK consultancy
- Full clean driving license
- Strong desire and ambition to promote the company from within
