BMC Recruitment Group has successfully achieved 100% year-on-year growth for the second consecutive year and David Blair, Managing Director, now has his sights set on further expansion in 2018.
BMC’s model is based upon delivering transparent, highly process driven search services – initial success came in the Executive Search and Senior Finance markets, where BMC were able to utilise David Blair’s expertise and network gained during a career in accountancy and corporate finance.
In 2017 BMC strengthened its offering to include Technology, Engineering, Sales and Marketing and Operations and Supply Chain as well as a full range of finance roles.
This expansion was supported by the extensive expertise of BMC’s Associate Director David Lovenbury who utilised his experience in high growth recruitment environments to help scale BMC across multiple sectors.

We now have a team of 16 made up of experienced consultants, former industry specialists who bring deep sector knowledge, and a very effective research team. When I started the business, my aim was to build a solid platform here in the North East. My time as a chartered accountant and the wider network of our consultants has meant that this growth and national rollout has happened earlier than expected and we’ve supported clients across the North West, Midlands and in London and the South East.”
BMC is working with major clients including seven of the North East’s eight largest businesses and from an international business perspective, has secured two exclusive international projects, highlighting BMC’s extraordinary growth in just over two and a half years.
