We are looking for Business Development Executives to join our client in the Newcastle area.
The responsibilities required in this role are:
To generate new sales, introductions and educates customers about our clients’ services.
Consistently perform to high-quality standards.
To generate new customers, linked directly to the current business plan.
Focus and drive to achieve targets, concentrate on developing quality contacts rather than quantity. Telephone activity to increase volume/revenue, while maximising profitability.
To identify sales opportunities and efficiently present key features of our services to secure new business. Describe the product/service benefits and any special offers or promotions. Advise how these may benefit customers personally.
Gather and document information about the customer.
Customer Relationship Management – enter your notes into the database, including dates re any follow-up calls.
To continually promote company image through all activities. Identify prospects for external visits.
To ensure that quarterly objectives, as agreed with your line manager, are achieved.
Focus on results and willingly tackle problems or conflicts which threaten their achievement.
Bring a sense of urgency to situations, demonstrate an active approach, be willing to get involved to increase the pace and achieve goals and objectives.

B2B sales and business development experience
Strong communication skills
Organised and able to manage your own time
Comfortable utilising your sales skills over the phone
