The Company

BMC are currently assisting an award winning integrated technology business with the recruitment of a professional B2B sales executive who is a confident, warm and friendly communicator who will offer effective solutions promoting company products and services and generating sales revenue.

Job Role

An independent and results driven B2B sales professional you will be driven and passionate about delivering a fantastic customer experience on every call and client interaction.

The responsibilities required in this role are:

  • Contact current clients to maximise revenue potential.
  • Deal with some inbound leads and either look to convert these to sales or transfer to Field Account Manager
  • Identify customer needs and match and present relevant products and services
  • Develop and maintain detailed understanding of business products / services and client’s proposition and markets
  • Meet sales revenue targets and activity KPIs
  • Support the Field Account Managers as required, including passing on potential leads and checking that the necessary contact is then made by them and any requested action taken
  • Ensure all calls are logged accurately, including contact details, follow up dates or other action required
  • Communicate with all relevant internal staff (eg marketing, accounts, client services, design studio)
  • Manage requests for documentation including samples, estimates and invoices
  • Develop and maintain understanding of operational processes

The following skills are essential:

  • Excellent organizational skills, with an attention to detail
  • Demonstrate time management skills, prioritise work, and make decisions quickly and independently
  • Manage full workload keeping within service levels and KPI’s
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Must be articulate, an understanding of print would be an advantage but not essential
  • Ability to persuade and influence in order to meet sales targets
  • Ability to overcome objections
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Customer focused
  • Worked within and dealt with Estate Agents
  • Knowledge of Print Business and manufacturing
  • Experience in consultative selling across a range of products
