Our client is one of the UK’s most innovative financial services groups. The group has more than 300 employees. The role will be working in the marketing team working closely with the head of campaigns.


The Social Media Executive role is designed to improve our clients marketing output by managing and delivering innovative and exciting social media content across our clients multiple platforms to meet business objectives.

Working closely with the Head of Campaigns as well as the wider marketing team, including the content and video production team members, the role focuses on delivering business objectives by promoting the business to existing and prospective new clients.

With development, the Social Media Executive will be required to fully own and manage all our clients social media channels, including reporting and developing a plan to grow each of our clients platforms.

Core duties & responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Understand campaign objectives and suggest ways to meet them using our clients social media channels
  • Help to develop an engaging social media strategy for the business
  • Evaluate and generate the most appropriate content per channel
  • Manage, plan and create content for each channel.

Miscellaneous duties

  • Participate in planning meetings and contribute ideas
  • Liaise with our clients staff on marketing-related enquiries
  • Assist in responding to any appropriate social media comments and messages
  • Ad hoc duties as required
