Sales Ledger (Part Time)

Are you an experienced sales ledger / credit controller looking for a part time and flexible role?
BMC Recruitment Group are delighted to be working alongside an established business in the Newcastle upon Tyne area who are looking to recruit a Sales Ledger on a part time permanent contract.
As a Sales Ledger and working within a finance team you will be responsible for ensuring the sales ledger is processed efficiently and on time. You will be responsible for liaising with different departments and helping to deal with client queries via phone and email.
This is a part time role working 20 hours a week and can be worked flexibly over four or five days.
There is no hybrid remote working available for this role.
Job Duties include:
Raising invoices and credit notes.
Processing and allocating receipts received and updating the status of payment
Resolving any queries via phone or email.
Raising and updating journals
Updating credits and payments.
Revising credit balances and issuing refund documentation to clients and customers if necessary
Reviewing aged debtors report
General office duties and ad hoc administration
