An opportunity to join a successful regional main contractor who are expanding their commercial team due to winning several new contracts due to start early 2023. This company are well established and are market leaders in the northeast. Operating across a number of sectors including commercial, residential, education and pharmaceutical, this opportunity would certainly offer plenty of scope for variance.

I’m looking for an intermediate to Senior QS as my client is open to considering candidates with different levels of experience. What’s important is being able to demonstrate experience of being the commercial lead on projects up to 5m generally using JCT suite of contracts and occasionally NEC.

It will be your responsibility to look after 2/3 projects at any one time. You will be based in the office in Newcastle within the commercial team and be expected to travel to regional sites as and when required to undertake valuations, attend meetings etc.

What makes this a great opportunity is the reason for this recruitment is to expand an already successful commercial team. The business is aiming to increase its turnover by 10m in 5 year and increase it’s market share by winning repeat business from its target clients.
