Are you a qualified CIMA or ACCA professional with previous experience as a Management Accountant. Our client is looking for candidates with 5+ years’ experience in industry looking to take the next step in their career.

The Role

  • Monthly reporting on trading P&L – i.e. sales and GP activity (actual v budget and forecast);
  • Finance lead on annual branch budgets and reforecasts;
  • Enhance the current suite of trade reports and relevant flash reporting;
  • Business partner with the branch network, stock controller, fleet and property teams to improve reporting and flow of key info into the financials;
  • Manage business rebate processes – Customer rebate calculations and Manufacturer rebate claims;
  • Cashflow forecasting – Daily management and longer term forecast model preparation for review at senior level;
  • Cashflow management – Liaise internally with branches to understand key supply chain demands and improve communication both internally and externally;
  • Oversee revolving buyer loan bank facility used for bulk buying opportunities;
  • Oversee annual insurance renewal process;
  • Adhoc reporting and project work as required


Skills and qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience of working at a commercial level within a fast paced businesses or group structure;
  • Hold, or be working towards a related accountancy qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, ACA etc;
  • Familiarity with accounting systems with the ability to understand transaction flows and how they run through the system;
  • Competent level of IT skills including a strong working knowledge of Excel required;
  • Ability to communicate efficiently, verbally, in print and on the phone to deal with customers and external contacts;
  • Attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to work to, and sometimes implement own processes;
