Our client is an award-winning consumer brand with their global headquarters in Newcastle upon Tyne where the role will be based 3 days a week. The UK Junior Channel Development Manager will help support the Head of Ecommerce to oversee the Amazon channel.

 

Role responsibilities:

  • Work with the Head of Ecommerce Channel Development to optimise and enhance planning processes.
  • Amazon data-led analysis focusing on the performance drivers of Amazon UK
  • Working with the Media Planner to understand and influence the paid media approach in the context of driving performance within Amazon.
  • Lead best practise across Amazon EU5 (UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain)
  • Understanding EPOS performance and what is driving it; piecing together category trends, traffic, digital shelf drivers as well as competitor impacts on performance.
  • Utilise tools to monitor keyword trends and feed insight into processes to improve both organic and paid visibility.
  • Support in driving Amazon content requirements through the briefing process to enable optimised Amazon content that is best-in class vs competition and in-line with Amazon requirements.
  • Management of brand store activation. Driving the strategic merchandising approach, briefing content requirements, and analysing performance to continually optimise.
  • Identify category trends to elevate opportunities or risks that we’re seeing from competitors and emerging brands.
  • Working with the Category Manager and Category Marketing Managers to take insights to help win in Amazon.
