HR Reward Manager

I am delighted to be representing a well-known national client to recruit a HR Reward Manager for a minimum of six months. The role may develop into a permanent opportunity. The position will lead on a significant Reward Project, providing specialist support, reward project management and technical expertise to HR and the wider business. The role holder will support the development and implementation of an effective reward strategy aligned to the business strategy
To support the Head of HR Strategy and the Reward Manager in providing timely, high quality data analysis and research to support the maintenance, development, implementation and execution of reward strategy, policies and practices.
Provide comprehensive support to key reward initiatives around Harmonisation of Benefits, Terms and Conditions and incentive schemes and policy & processes.
Keep up to date with related HR/People and business issues and initiatives that may impact on the reward strategy and ensure relevant information is shared within the immediate team as appropriate.
Lead on the implementation and management of the harmonisation project, liaising as appropriate with all stakeholders such as Senior Management, Affected populations, HR Teams. Responsible for developing and tracking against the project plan and reporting regularly on progress.
Build effective contacts internally to deliver the project. Utilising external contacts and networks, as required, to seek input on best practice which informs the approach.
Close liaison with the Reward,Data and Organisation Management team, Employee Relations, HR Services and HR Relationship Managers.
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications
Experience of significant Reward projects that have an impact on the business and which have either driven significant business change or streamlined processes.
CIPD qualified or close to completion (desirable). Educated to degree level (desirable).
Previous Reward experience is essential (Job Evaluation and Benchmarking - WTW experience,
Harmonisation activities, working on/leading reward projects).
Advanced Microsoft Excel, Office, HRIS and Google business applications. Ideally with experience of SAP and/or Workday.
Able to undertake cost benefit analysis.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, influencing; effective planning and organisation. With a high attention to detail; ability to work to tight deadlines; able to work autonomously and also collaboratively within a team
Experience of operating with highly confidential and sensitive information with tact and diplomacy.
