BMC Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a local charity to assist them with the recruitment of a HR Business Partner to join them on a temporary basis for a period of 12 months.

 

The role will be responsible for providing a professional HR service to the charity on a full range of HR matters. You will have previous experience of working at either HR Advisor or HR Business Partner level.

 

The role is full time and the organisation have a hybrid working policy. £ GBP 32,000.00 - 36,000.00 pro rata. This is a temporary position for a period of 12 months.

 

Main responsibilities include: 

  • Coaching managers in employee relations and employee engagement
  • Support in change management programmes such for example, redundancies, restructuring and TUPE transfers as well as supporting managers through periods of change
  • Support the HR Manager in the development of HR policies and handbooks
  • Provide advice and support to managers to allow them to carry out recruitment activities, as well as developing job descriptions, producing job adverts and advertise vacancies, and  assisting with the production of employee contracts
  • Providing advice on to managers on the different types of employment and associated terms and conditions
  • Develop good relationships with all employees and Trade Union representatives to encourage good employee relations
  • Liaise with managers to identify learning and development requirements and propose appropriate solutions
