Group Executive Assistant and Business Manager

£35,000 - £40,000


This role is the ideal career opportunity for an existing Executive assistant who is looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and growing business. The role is full time and predominantly office based.

Main Purpose

  • The role will encompass providing support to the Senior Leadership Team in organisational activities, business projects and governance.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supporting organisation development projects
  • Utilising research skills to gather market information and customer intelligence
  • Supporting the management of the office including liaising with external agencies as well as day-to-day operational running of the office
  • Co-ordinating travel and accommodation arrangements including travel itineraries
  • Provide secretarial and organisational support to the Group General Manager including managing personal appointments
  • Formatting and proof-reading papers
  • Providing support with presentation development
  • Working with the Company Secretary to set up Board meetings and covering for and assisting the company secretary with tasks such as board papers.
  • Deputising for the MD in meetings where appropriate


Person specification

  • Extensive Executive Assistant experience working with directors
  • Demonstratable project management skills
  • Experience in creating effective presentations
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Comfortable with changing priorities and demands
  • Confident in managing high level tasks but also prepared to take ownership of day to day operational needs



  • Salary of up to £40,000 depending on experience
