BMC Recruitment Group are delighted to be working exclusively with a well-established business in the Teesside area who are looking for an experienced Finance Manager / Financial Controller to join them on a full time, permanent contract.
As Finance Manager / Financial Controller you will be working directly with the Managing Director in a standalone role where you will be responsible for overseeing the full accounting function in a varied and interesting role.
The role is a hybrid working role with four days worked in the office and one day at home. This is usually a Friday but can be potentially negotiated to be a different day.
Job Duties include:
- Preparation of monthly and yearly management accounts
- Liaison with auditors
- Cash flow forecasting and reporting
- P/L Reporting and Analysis
- Budgeting and Analysis
- General accounting duties including sales & purchase ledger, multicurrency bank reconciliations, credit control and stock management
- Foreign Exchange
- Assisting with the future implementation to Xero software in the long term
- Other ad hoc duties as and when required
Person Specification:
- Experienced on SAGE 100 accounting software (preferable)
- Have experience dealing with foreign currencies and exchange (essential)
- Qualified by experience / Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant
- Driven and proactive
- Easy and outgoing personality
