We are recruiting a Permanent Claims Assistant/Admin support for our client, a growing Law Firm in the heart of Newcastle.
- Answering incoming calls and forwarding or taking detailed, accurate messages where necessary.
- Monitoring the claims in-box for new claims
- Supporting Fee earners
- Ensuring all necessary documents for new claims are attached in the database
- Assisting with new claim allocation to the most suitable Fee Earner
- Managing the claims inbox and dealing with all correspondence accordingly ensuring all follow up is complete where necessary
- Verifying bank details
- Drafting witness statements
- Sending confirmation emails to Insurers
- General administrational support as required
- Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
- Confident with Microsoft Office packages including Excel and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work calmly and methodically under pressure within strict timelines.
- Extremely well organised and ability to prioritise
- Excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working both individually and as part of a team.
What they are offering
A salary of up to £24,000 with a hybrid offering after probation (6 months), 25 days holiday and a good pension scheme.
