I am delighted to be working alongside a well-known Newcastle based business to recruit a business development executive on a permanent contract. This client are offering an immediate start date 37.5 Hours per week - Monday to Friday
Duties will include:
- Be able to work towards set quarterly targets and implement plans efficiently
- Work well within a team environment, but also take the initiative to operate independently by maintaining existing relationships and building new ones
- To speak with and encourage financial advisers to use the technology and platform daily
- Educate Financial Advisers on sales initiatives and being the go-to contact for sales and general enquiries
- Help Financial Advisers use the systems to place business with us whilst also actively engaging and supporting advisers to ensure continued sales.
- Be able to travel for business needs, including visiting Financial Advisers at their offices around the country and host them for days at Head Office
- Good organizational skills are required for the role and the ability to efficiently communicate via all mediums of telephone / email
- Good sales and negation skills needed and the ability to self-motivate. Candidate must also be able to learn quickly on the job and have good interpersonal skills
- The candidate will be seen as successful by hitting their quarterly sales targets rewarded with a generous bonus scheme, also the ability to take qualifications to push themselves forward in financial services
- The role will report directly into the Head of Sales for that Department within the company
