Role Summary

 

  • Assist with month end management accounts
  • Assist purchase ledger function as required

Principal responsibilities and accountabilities

  • Maintain fixed asset register across 3 companies
  • Job cost allocations and monthly provisions
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Prepayments and Accruals
  • Review monthly overheads for errors / miscodes etc. and investigate any variances against budget.
  • Office of National Statistics submissions
  • Assist Group Accountant with VAT returns
  • Assist with audit preparation and queries.
  • Review and improve own processes and make ongoing improvements.
  • Assist Group Accountants on an Ad Hoc basis as required
  • Assist purchase ledger as required, including processing / matching invoices, statement reconciliations, holiday cover etc.
