Role Summary
- Assist with month end management accounts
- Assist purchase ledger function as required
Principal responsibilities and accountabilities
- Maintain fixed asset register across 3 companies
- Job cost allocations and monthly provisions
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Prepayments and Accruals
- Review monthly overheads for errors / miscodes etc. and investigate any variances against budget.
- Office of National Statistics submissions
- Assist Group Accountant with VAT returns
- Assist with audit preparation and queries.
- Review and improve own processes and make ongoing improvements.
- Assist Group Accountants on an Ad Hoc basis as required
- Assist purchase ledger as required, including processing / matching invoices, statement reconciliations, holiday cover etc.
